Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit opyra.ai or join our waitlist, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Opyra is building a performance intelligence platform that unifies workforce, operational and wellbeing data. This website is our public site, where you can read about what we are building and ask to join the first cohort.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, the data controller is Opyra Intelligence Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16995906, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the opyra.ai website only — the pages you are reading now and the waitlist form on them.
It does not cover the Opyra product itself. When your organisation uses the Opyra platform, we process data on that organisation's instructions as a processor, under a separate agreement and a separate privacy notice. If you are an employee of a customer organisation and have questions about how your workplace data is handled, please contact your own employer in the first instance.
3. What we collect
Information you give us
The only form on this site is the waitlist form, and the only field it has is your email address. When you submit it we store three things in our own database: the address itself, a label recording that it came from opyra.ai, and the date and time. We also email ourselves to say a signup arrived, so that we notice it. If our systems are briefly unavailable, the form falls back to opening your own mail application so you can send the request to us directly instead.
If you email us directly at hello@opyra.ai instead, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message — typically your name, email address, organisation and the substance of your enquiry.
We do not store your IP address, your browser or any tracking identifier alongside your waitlist entry. The record is your email address, where it came from, and when — nothing else.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical information each time a page is requested, for security, abuse prevention and reliability. This includes your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string.
What we do not collect
- We run no analytics on this site — no Google Analytics, no product analytics, no session recording.
- We run no advertising or marketing trackers, and no social media pixels.
- We do not build profiles of visitors, and we make no automated decisions about you.
- We do not ask for, and have no reason to hold, any special category data through this website.
4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for every use of your personal data. Ours are set out below.

We will not use your waitlist address for a newsletter, sell it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
7. Where your data goes
Opyra is built to keep data in the UK and EU, and your waitlist entry is stored in a database hosted in the UK/EU. Some of the providers above are US-headquartered and operate global infrastructure, so limited personal data — principally IP addresses in server logs, and the request your browser makes for our typeface — may be processed outside the UK.
Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards under Article 46 UK GDPR: the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision where one applies. You can ask us for details of the safeguards used for a specific provider.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for.

9. How we protect it
The site is served only over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and us is encrypted in transit. Access to the mailbox that receives waitlist requests is restricted to people at Opyra who need it, and protected by strong authentication.
The strongest protection we apply is collecting very little in the first place: one email address, given deliberately, with no tracking attached to it.
10. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data where we have no continuing reason to keep it.
- Restriction — ask us to pause our use of your data while a concern is resolved.
- Portability — receive the data you gave us in a common machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — leave the waitlist at any time. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did lawfully beforehand.
To exercise any of these, email hello@opyra.ai. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and we will only ask you to verify your identity where we genuinely need to before acting.
Leaving the waitlist takes one line — email us asking to be removed, and we will delete your address and confirm.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at hello@opyra.ai so we can put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
12. Children
Opyra is a business product. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this page as Opyra develops — particularly when the waitlist form starts submitting to a hosted form service, or when we introduce privacy-respecting analytics. The date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will email you about it rather than rely on you noticing.
