The problem

The Invisible Productivity Crisis

Despite unprecedented investment in AI, enterprise software and digital infrastructure, productivity growth has stalled. Organisations hold more data than ever, but it sits in disconnected systems that show only fragments of how work is performed — leaving human capital the largest investment in almost every organisation, and the least measurable.

Our vision

Building the Infrastructure for the Performance Economy

Opyra connects workforce, operational and financial systems into one model of organisational performance, revealing how work flows through an organisation and what those patterns are worth. Rather than reporting activity, it continuously identifies coordination drag, cognitive overload and burnout risk before they become financial problems.

As AI reshapes the global economy, the organisations that succeed will not simply deploy more technology — they will turn their own data into economic intelligence. Opyra is building that infrastructure.

The platform

From Operational Signal to Financial Value

Four layers that turn the metadata your organisation already produces into intelligence leaders can act on.

01.

Unified organisational data

Every organisation generates millions of operational signals a day. Opyra securely integrates metadata across collaboration, HR, workflow and financial systems into one view of how work is actually executed.

02.

AI performance intelligence

Opyra's engine runs continuously, identifying coordination cost, workflow inefficiency, execution drag, cognitive overload, burnout risk and recoverable capacity — surfacing emerging risk long before a quarterly survey would.

03.

Financial attribution

Every insight is translated into financial value, so leaders see not only what is happening but what it costs. Finance, operations and people teams can quantify leakage and invest against outcomes rather than assumptions.

04.

Continuous optimisation

Intelligence matters only when it drives action. Opyra turns insight into prioritised recommendations, then keeps learning as behaviour changes — so the advice stays relevant and grows more effective.

We are building a system that…

Designed to sit across the tools you already run.

Prevents, not reacts

Most organisations spot a problem only after productivity has fallen. Opyra monitors patterns continuously and flags emerging risk early, protecting performance and workforce wellbeing alike.

Guides, not overwhelms

Leaders do not need more dashboards — they need clarity. Opyra turns complex data into a short list of actions, ranked by financial impact.

Learns and adapts

Every organisation operates differently. Opyra learns how your teams collaborate and execute, building a model of your organisation rather than leaning on a generic benchmark.

Intelligence, not surveillance

Opyra analyses metadata — never messages, documents, emails or conversations. Enterprise-grade insight into performance, without monitoring the people doing the work.

Careers

Build the intelligence layer for how work works

Opyra is early. The problem is enormous, the team is small, and the decisions being made now will shape the product for years. Five roles are open — expand one to read the detail.

Full-stack Agentic AI Engineer EngineeringFull-timeLondon or remote (UK)

You will build the engine at the centre of Opyra — the agents that read organisational metadata, reason about how work is flowing, and turn what they find into intelligence a CFO would act on. This is end-to-end work: model and pipeline one day, the interface a leader actually reads the next.

What you would do

  • Design and ship agentic systems that analyse operational metadata at scale
  • Build the reasoning that turns behavioural patterns into financial attribution
  • Take features from data model through API to production interface
  • Set the evaluation bar — decide how we know an insight is right before a customer sees it

What we are looking for

  • Strong full-stack engineering, and real experience building on LLMs
  • Comfort with ambiguity: the problem is not fully specified yet, and you will help specify it
  • Judgement about when a model is the answer and when plain code is
  • Care for the people in the data — this is metadata, never content

Integration Engineer EngineeringFull-timeLondon or remote (UK)

Opyra is only as good as the systems it can reach. You will own the connectors into the collaboration, HR, workflow and finance platforms our customers already run — making ingestion reliable, secure and genuinely easy to switch on.

What you would do

  • Build and maintain metadata connectors across enterprise platforms
  • Make onboarding a customer a matter of days rather than months
  • Design the schemas that let very different sources resolve into one model
  • Work with enterprise security and IT teams through review and approval

What we are looking for

  • Experience integrating third-party and enterprise APIs in production
  • A high bar for reliability, observability and graceful failure
  • Fluency with authentication, permissions and data-protection constraints
  • Patience for the unglamorous work that makes everything else possible
Apply for this role
Product Designer DesignFull-timeLondon or remote (UK)

Every competitor answers this problem with another dashboard. We are not going to. You will shape how complex organisational intelligence becomes something a leader can read in a minute and act on with confidence — across product, brand and the surfaces in between.

What you would do

  • Own end-to-end product design: flows, states, interface, interaction
  • Turn dense analytical output into clear, prioritised guidance
  • Build and hold the design system as the product grows
  • Design for scrutiny — these screens get read by finance, operations and works councils

What we are looking for

  • A portfolio showing complex problems made genuinely simple
  • Strength in information design, not only visual polish
  • Accessibility treated as part of the craft rather than a checklist
  • Comfort designing something that has no obvious precedent
Apply for this role
Engineering Intern — Agentic AI InternshipPaidLondon or remote (UK)

A paid internship for someone who wants to build with agents rather than read about them. You will work on real parts of the product with real users at the end of them, supported closely by the engineers who own that code.

What you would do

  • Prototype agent behaviours and help evaluate whether they hold up
  • Ship scoped, real features into the product with review and support
  • Help build the tooling we use to test and measure model output
  • Take part in the same technical discussions as everyone else

What we are looking for

  • Some experience building with LLMs — coursework, side projects or work
  • Solid programming fundamentals in any language
  • Curiosity and the willingness to say when something does not make sense
  • No specific degree required, and no minimum year of study
Apply for this role
Intern — Product Research InternshipPaidLondon or remote (UK)

A paid internship helping us understand how organisations actually work — the coordination costs, the drag, the capacity nobody can see. Your findings feed directly into what we build and into how we explain it.

What you would do

  • Research how enterprises and public bodies measure productivity today
  • Help run and synthesise conversations with prospective users
  • Turn messy qualitative input into findings the team can act on
  • Support the product and design team with evidence for decisions

What we are looking for

  • Clear writing and structured thinking
  • Genuine interest in organisations, economics or the future of work
  • Care with evidence — and the honesty to report what you actually found
  • No specific degree required, and no research background needed
